Police investigate man’s death inside motel room PDF Print E-mail

Police are looking into the mysterious death of an employee of the Coca Cola Bottlers Philippines who was discovered dead inside a motel in Canelar last Monday night.

A police report said that investigators were still working to determine the cause of death of Anastacio Natad III, 36, married, account developer of Coca Cola Bottlers Philippines Inc. and a resident of Uranus Drive, Tumaga who was found dead inside Green Rose Pension Inn in Macrohon Drive, Canelar last Monday around 10 p.m.

Police said that based on the motel’s record, Natad checked in with an unidentified woman for a short time stay around 7:10 p.m. at Room B2.  At 8:15 p.m., the woman was seen by motel personnel leaving the place.

At 10:10 p.m., room attendants knocked on the door of Room B2 to inform Natad that their short time stay has expired. There was no answer inside the room despite the several knocks. After the management was informed of the status at Room B2, the owner of the motel ordered the room attendants to open the room. Natad was found lying on the floor and lifeless.

Investigators recovered a Land Transportation Office Original Receipt, Official Receipt of Jollibee, Shell Card, Data Traveler USB, cash amounting to P370 and an XRM motorcycle with plate number 7366 JG.
All the items were turned over to Natad’s wife Analie after investigation.

Analie told the police that her husband had a history of heart ailment.
