2 brothers wanted
for murder arrested   

Government forces arrested two brothers wanted for murder in Barangay Muti yesterday morning.

A police report identified those arrested as Sajid Amajad y Nasalun and his brother Edil.

Authorities were checking if the two brothers are members of the Abu Sayyaf Group.

Sajid was nabbed around 9:30 a.m. while Edil was collared at 11:20 a.m. in Muti.

A certain Hassan Cabbeh, who was a passenger of the habal-habal driven by Sajid, was also held for questioning.

The three men were arrested by men of the PNP's Regional Intelligence Division (R-2), Task Force Zamboanga, PCTC, DIPO-WM, 84th SAC, NISG-WM, MARCC and Curuan Police Station under the supervision of City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo.

The suspects were arrested on the strength of a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 12 for murder with case number 27634.

The two Amajads and Cabbeh were brought to City Police Office for further investigation.

The Amajads were scheduled to be turned over to the court for the issuance of a commitment order to the city jail.
