Man unscathed after his bike hits water truck PDF Print E-mail

An employee of a telecommunication company miraculously escaped death after his motorcycle collided with a water truck along Nuñez Extension last Friday morning.

Roel Saavedra, a sales agent of the Sun Cellular and a resident of Pasonanca, emerged unscathed when his motorcycle hit the truck and slid underneath.

Saavedra sustained injuries in the right leg while his motorcycle was damaged.
A police report disclosed that Saavedra was on his way to the city proper when he collided with the water truck which was ahead of him.

Witnesses told the police that the truck was slowly making a U-turn when Saavedra’s motorcycle that running on high speed bumped the lower portion of the vehicle.

Saavedra said that before his motorcycle touch got in contact with the truck, he managed to jump and escaped injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded at the police station for further investigation. — Dan Toribio Jr.
