A 77-year-old man died after he was accidentally hit by a speeding motorcycle in Bolong the other day.
Police identified the fatality as Rodolfo Macansantos.

A police report disclosed that a Suzuki Shogun motorcycle driven by Ruel Teofilo Sr. of Lunzuran was negotiating the Lobregat Highway heading for the city proper around 5:30 p.m. when Macansantos reportedly crossed the road resulting in the accident.

Macansantos slumped on the pavement, while Teofilo fell from the motorcycle. They sustained injuries in their body and were taken to the hospital.

However, Macansantos expired while undergoing treatment.

Teofilo was confined for treatment while the motorcycle was impounded at the central police station.

Police have prepared charges against Teofilo.
