As the Holy Week observance peaks on Thursday until Friday, House Deputy Speaker and District I Cong. Beng Climaco has called on all sectors to cooperate and help make all activities peaceful and orderly.

“The areas expected to be packed with people are our churches and religious venues such as the Abong-Abong Park. We ask our faithful to help ensure the peaceful conduct of these activities and help our law enforcers in making sure that security measures is at its best,” Cong. Climaco said.

She urged everyone to follow conscientiously the rules and regulations being implemented by law enforcers to avoid delay and hassles in the conduct of religious activities and rituals.

“Things that are prohibited in the area should not anymore be brought to these places. That includes sharp objects, firearms and other intoxicated beverages,” the congresswoman said stressing that “by following strictly these orders we are greatly helping the law enforcers ensure a peaceful lenten celebration.”
