Zamboanga’s Team PNoy headed by mayoralty aspirant Cong. Beng Climaco, team mate Vice Mayor Cesar Iturralde and congressional aspirants Mayor Celso Lobregat for District 1 and Jomar Lobregat for District 2 conquered the city proper area after attending an early morning mass at the Fort Pilar Shrine on the third day of the campaign Monday .

From the Shrine, the group walked on foot to the downtown area to attend City Hall’s flag raising ceremony at 8am where Team PNoy Senatorial candidate Loren Legarda also joined the group.

After presenting Legarda and the local Team PNoy to City Government employees, Mayor Lobregat and Cong. Climaco led the group in visiting the different offices in City Hall, in Pettit Barracks and later in the different business establishments downtown.

City Government workers warmly welcomed Climaco, the Lobregat brothers and Iturralde as well as the Team PNoy Council aspirants that included re-electionists Myra Paz Abubakar, Noning Biel and Gerky Valesco and newcomers Violeta Alejandro, Charlie Mariano, Tito Espiritusanto, Dats Sampang and Bong Atilano under District 1 and re-electionists Mike Alavar, Eddie Saavedra, Percy Ramos and VP Elago and newcomers Kit Barredo, Art Onrubia, BG Guingona and Elong Natividad under District II.

Legarda likewise addressed the City employees and rolled out her accomplishments as well as future plans if and when she is given a new mandate.

Mayor Lobregat in his message thanked City Hall employees for the support and cooperation given to his administration the last 9 years that made possible the implementation of at least 3,833 infrastructure projects worth P5.4 billion in a record period of 5 years or from 2007-2012 without having to borrow a single centavo from any financial institution.

With the assistance and support of the City Government workers, the present administration has been able to accomplish a lot in all aspects making Zamboanga what it is today, according to Lobregat.

He hoped that the city’s plans and programs would be pursued and continued by the next administration, which he wished would be somebody who has given her all out support to the administration since the time of the late Mayor Maria Clara Lobregat: mayoralty aspirant Cong. Beng Climaco.

Climaco said perform and deliver are her two primary goals for the people of Zamboanga, which she said has been accomplished during her two terms in Congress.
