Policemen arrested a bar customer for possession of undocumented gun along Gov. Camins Avenue last Thursday night.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo identified the suspect as Roner Sanson y Lozano, 35, married, of Don Toribio St., Tetuan.

Sanson was nabbed by men of the 3rd Maneuvering Company, RPSB9 led by Insp. Alexis Manuta Bahunsa at the Nalyn’s KTCV bar around 7 p.m. Recovered from Sanson’s possession was a .45 caliber pistol loaded with seven rounds of ammunition, a long strip of aluminum foil, container filled with eight pieces of pink tablets suspected to be Ecstacy drug, a driver’s license and a Nissan Sedan with plate number CJB 693.

Investigators found out that Sanson could not produce a Comelec exemption to carry the gun.

Sanson was detained for the filing of charges in court while the police were still evaluating and digging deeper into the case for possible additional charges against him. – Dan Toribio Jr.
