UNA senatorial candidate Migz Zubiri has vowed to become the voice and representative of Mindanao in the senate if given again and win in the May 13 election.

Zubiri made the vow during a breakfast meeting with the local UNA candidates led by District 1 congressional aspirant Cris “Monsi” Dela Cruz yesterday morning.

In his message to the Zamboangueños, Zubiri said there should be a representative from Mindanao in the senate who will work to bring progress in the land of promise.

Zubiri solicited the support of Mindanaons to put him back to the senate where he will work and see whatever solutions to the power crisis in Mindanao.

Once elected again, Zubiri stressed that aside from concentrating on the power crisis, he will also focus in the health program.

Zubiri assured that if he is back in the senate, there  will be abundant supply of medicines in the different hospitals so that indigent patients will not have to buy expensive medicines from drug stores or approach elected officials to ask for it.

Zubiri’s other plans are to give free service of all hospital equipment and increase the salary of all health workers.

The man from Bukidnon added that the service in government hospitals in the different cities and provinces should be the same as that of hospitals in Metro Manila.

“I feel what my fellow Mindnaoans feel with the present problems here like the long hours of blackout, health problem and others,” Zubiri said.

Meanwhile, Zubiri raised the hands and endorsed all the local UNA candidates led by Dela Cruz, saying that their party can address all problems in the city. — Dan Toribio Jr.
