Brig. Gen. Edgar R. Fallorina, deputy commander of the Philippine Air Force’s 3rd Aid Division, was the guest of honor  during the flag raising and awarding ceremony for six policemen of the  Police Regional Office 9 in Camp Abendan yesterday morning

Six policewomen composed of two Inspectors and four non-commission officers received the “Medalya ng Papuri” during the ceremony.

Fallorina commended the six awardees for a job well done.

“I congratulate you for giving time in helping other people. We should put our action together no matter how small or big it is for the good of the institution where you belong and serve our country and the people with utmost dedication and we will continue serving our country and the people. I spent 10 years here in Mindanao as a pilot. I landed the aircraft in all corners of Mindanao. I’ve seen all the beauties of Mindanao that all people may be proud of. We have to put our lives in the line to serve the people so that they may have an opportunity to serve others,” Fallorina said.

Fallorina is a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy Matikas Batch 1983. He is the first in his PMA batch to become a Brigadier General. He was number one in his class in General Staff Course Batch 41 and is a cum laude graduate. — Allen  Abastillas
