Team Pnoy 2nd district congressional aspirant Jomar Lobregat, happily said yesterday, that he is starting to pick-up, with the help of his team mates, and incumbent city officials, who are constantly endorsing his candidacy to district 2 residents.

Jomar, who is Mayor Celso Lobregat’s younger brother, said that “these endorsements begin to show good effects, because people wherever we go and campaign, would express their eagerness to know who Jomar Lobregat is”.

Jomar is referring to endorsements made on his candidacy by Mayor Lobregat, 1st district congresswoman, now mayoralty aspirant Ma Isabelle ‘Beng’ Climaco-Salazar, and re-electionist Vice Mayor Cesar Iturralde, in every campaign or rally of Team Pnoy, to include in all media interviews lately.

“At least, these people who are endorsing my candidacy, are not only credible, but already tested leaders in as far as good governance”, the younger Lobregat said over RMN’s Kuskos Batikos program.

However, the businessman-turned politician, made it clear, that such endorsements would amount to less, if district 2 electorates would not believe that he is capable of becoming their congressman. But he said, that “so far, they now know who Jomar is, and  they would always extend their warm welcome to us, to me, and to our whole entourage”.

Jomar said, that once elected, he will not deviate from any controversial issue in congress,  confronting his district and the city, like the about to be crafted basic law on Bangsamoro Juridical Entity (BJE), which is leading to the reformation of the present Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), that has been consistently threatening Zamboanga City of inclusion.

Meanwhile, Lobregat expressed disbelief of bailiwick system in this election season, claiming that no candidate is ever sure of having solid votes in any territory, especially, among island barangays where his closest rivals are said to be dominating in terms of support. — Team Pnoy PR
