“Man to man we have the best men and woman in our fold, candidates with the capabilities, the integrity and social awareness to serve the people, in Fuerza Zamboanga we assure the public, the city will be in safe and capable hands,” declared Erbie A. Fabian, mayoralty bet of the 13-man Fuerza Zamboanga team in the group’s nightly barangay rallies.

Fabian, who has served as councilor for three terms, vice mayor for a term, mayor for six months as he took over after the demise of then Mayor Caling Lobregat and is currently finishing his third term as congressman for the 2nd district, said in Atty. Luis Climaco, the group has a capable and tested bet after Climaco served 15 years as a city councilor while running a highly respected law practice in the city for the past 29 years.

A teacher by profession who rose from the ranks and served as regional manager of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and consistent topnotcher and performer in the city council, Fabian pointed out Fuerza is with much pride presents Lilia M. Nuno as their congress bet for District 2.

In District 1, Fuerza Zamboanga’s council bets are led by another consistent top vote getter and a veteran of two consecutive terms as member of the city august body, lawyer Mel Sadain with recently retired and distinguished police officer Supt. Hado Edding, former National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) commissioner, former Zamcelco President and a respected member of the local media Mike Apostol, with former Aviation Deputy Chief Retired Supt. Joe Bernardo.

In District 2, the team is composed of comebacking former 3-term councilor and veteran broadcaster Gerry Acuna, noted surgeon Dr. Antonio ‘Bonjing’ Feliciano, retired govt. broadcaster and younger brother of former city councilor Max Enriquez, Roseller ‘Ller’ Enriquez, young Cabaluay Barangay Chair Mako Apolinario, former Water District official and Feltranz President Ed Mingala and retired Ateneo Professor Dr. Lito Depositario.

Fabian said the 13-man strong lineup is committed to deliver on a comprehensive 10-point agenda, the anchor of the team in its drive to propel the city into the future for the greater good of the people in Zamboanga.

“I, Atty. Luis Climaco and Ma’am Lilia Nuno will not be able to do much if you don’t bring along the rest of our team with us come May 13 as you cast you votes. We are solidly behind each other and hopefully your support for us will be for all the 13 of us in Fuerza Zamboanga, yes we are seven short of a complete slate but we stand tall in our desire to serve you, our beloved Zamboanguenos in this our city of flowers’, Fabian said.--Fuerza Zamboanga Media Bureau
