The “Operation Tuli” of the Police Regional Office 9’s Health Service ended at almost 4 p.m. yesterday at Camp Batalla  with some 200 children and one adult benefitting from free circumsicion.

Supt. Dexter Bubuli said the free circumsicion goes with free medicines.

The operation yesterday started at 8 a.m. and went non-stop until almost 4 p.m. It is the summer project of Police Regional Office-9 Director Chief Supt. Juanito B.  Vaño for the benefit of children.

The activity saw parents and their children with mixed emotions. Some kids were very eager to go first, while others were nervous. Some were crying and want to go home because they were afraid of the syringe injection needle and circumcision pain itself. Some  kids were laughing and looked adventurous. Those nearing the
puberty age were gay and one adult forgot to shave his groin.

Bubuli said they will conduct free dental and circumcision operations in the different Police Provincial Police Offices in Zamboanga del Norte — April 19 , Zamboanga del Sur — April 18 and Zamboanga Sibugay — April 20.-- Allen Abastillas
