HPG-9 warns against vehicle shipment fixers PDF Print E-mail

Highway Patrol Group-9 Chief  Supt. Severino  Agustin has warned  motorvehicle owners to be extra careful and vigilant in dealing with people in the documentation for the shipment of their vehicles to other places or in seeking for  motorvehicle clearance.

Agustin disclosed that his office has filed with the City Prosecutor’s Office a case against two persons, whose names were withheld, for falsification of public documents and unauthorized use of government seal and forgery docketed under  case number IX-06- INV-13D- 00146.

HPG-9 Investigator SPO1 Wilfredo P. Ator said the two persons were spotted at the local wharf by HPG Team Leader  Insp.  Mervin S. Clarit and PO1 Benhaider B. Bello usurping and using HPG-9 seal and xerox copy machine documents for motorvehicle shipment and clearance.

The two persons were brought to the HPG-9 Headquarters in Camp Batalla, where were questioned on their modus operandi at the local wharf. One of the suspects was workin in a stevedoring firm. — Allen Abastillas
