Man, 31, stabbed dead in Tumaga PDF Print E-mail

A 31-year-old man was stabbed and killed by an unidentified assailant in Tumaga at dawn last Saturday.

Police identified the fatality as Roy Reyes, 31. He sustained stab wounds in the chest and shoulder and was rushed to the Zamboanga City Medical Center where was declared dead on arrival.

A sketchy police report disclosed that Reyes was at the vicinity of Tumaga Health Center around 2 a.m. when an unidentified man stabbed him.

Meanwhile, burglars broke into the City Baptist Church at Camias Drive, Canelar and carted away several items like an electronic organ, DVD player, sound box, wall fan and an electric guitar.

Police said the robbers gained entry through a window where they removed the  blades. They  also used it as their exit point.

Police lifted some fingerprints at the scene which could lead to the identification and arrest of the robbers. – Dan Toribio Jr.
