Amid the empty promises and various scheming tactics of other political groups, barangay folks are sure of one thing: with the local Team PNoy under the Beng-Itu-Celso-Jomar partnership— help in terms of projects and programs and medical assistance are assured and guaranteed.

People who converge on Team PNoy’s pulong-pulong (small assemblies) and rallies alternately done in the two districts nightly, declare that the administration party deserves renewed mandate for the candidates under the team have proven their worth through the enormous projects and programs they have undertaken during their term in office.

“Na grupo yo di Ma’am Beng suporta cay asegurao el ayuda, de distrito uno man le pero si anda tu pidi ayuda para medisina maskin de distrito dos tu, tiene cosa ta alcansa”, Nathaniel Sabanal of Guiwan attested.

Like Sabanal, random interviews on people during Team PNoy’s sorties and even men on the streets are united in their stand saying candidates in other parties are fond of making promises—programs of government which they failed to deliver when they were in office for several years.

“Maskin kien puede ase promesas, el question porke sila se nuay mobe y hace ese maga cosa sila ta promete estaba pa?” Edgardo Alderete asked. “Como cosa el manada ta abla este Team PNoy tried and tested and can be trusted, poreso aqui kita debe suporta”.

“Na Team PNoy libiano el ayuda y libiano dale medisina”, Mujib Abdulhussin, Arena Blanco barangay chairman said, citing the millions worth of projects his barangay benefited during the administration of Mayor Celso Lobregat, who is seeking the District I congressional seat.

“Este maga proyecto y programa hinde ta escuji si quien el recivi- Muslim man o Cristiano”, Abdulhussin stressed.

Unity and continuity remains to be the thrust of the local Team PNoy, bannered by Cong. Beng Climaco as its mayoralty aspirant, Cesar Iturralde as re-electionist vice mayor, Mayor Celso Lobregat as District I congressional bet and Jomar Lobregat as District II congressional aspirant.

Council aspirants of Team PNoy are Myra Paz Abubakar, Violy Alejandro, Dats Sampang, Tito Espiritusanto, Noning Biel, Charlie Mariano, Bong Atilano and Gerky Valesco for District I and Mike Alavar, Kit Barredo, BG Guingona, VP Elago, Art Onrubia, Percival Ramos and Eddie Saavedra for District II.
