A total of  660 persons benefited from the free dental and circumcision operation conducted  by the Police Regional Office 9’s  Health Service during the weekend.

Supt. Dexter Bubuli disclosed that the recipients of the free medical outreach are: 180 free circumcision  in Zamboanga City, 130 free circumcision, 50 in dental in Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office last April 18, 100 free circumcision and 50 dental in Zamboanga del  Norte Police Provincial Office on April 19 and 100 free circumcision and 50 dental in Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office last  April 20,2013.

Bubuli said the three-day free medical outreach was very hectic and rigorous.

“After our operations in Pagadian City last April 18, 2013, we traveled to Zamboanga del Norte in Camp Hamac for the preparation of the Medcap on April 19.  The following day we conducted an operation in Zamboanga Sibugay PPO without delay. During the three-day straight operations, we rested only during  nighttime. Overall, it was very successful,”  Bubuli said.

The mothers/parents of the children who were given free dental services and circumcision thanked the  medical team.

One mother said that circumcision in a private hospital is a little expensive — About P 2,000. Another mother also thanked the medical team because it saved them money. — Allen Abastillas
