Abduquoahar P. Allian,  a 15-year-old high school student of Western Mindanao State Universty (WMSU) captured the lone gold medal for Zamboanga Peninsula in the lawn tennis event (singles ) in the recently concluded Palarong Pambansa 2013 in Dumaguete City.

Allian, a native of Sulu is ranked in the top 10 of the 18 years old and under national junior ranking and a member of the Phlippine Team which represented the country in the 4th ASEAN School Games in Surabaya, indonesa held last June 28-July 6, 2012.

Allian defeated Ferdinand Domingo of Region 3 with a lopsided score of 8-0 in the first round. He disposed of Qhudzree Taulani of ARMM 8-2 in the second round and Ferds Billy Agustin of NCR 8-1 n the third.

In the quarterfinals, the Zamboanga lad continued his winning ways with an 8-1 drubbing of Andre Alagao of Region 4-b. The semifnals was no different when Allian outplayed John Jeric Accion of Region 11 with a final score of 8-2.

In the finals, Allan faced tough competition against Harvey Vincent Alanis of Region V, but the Zamboanga ace had more firepower and ultimately prevailed with an 8-5 victory.

Allian is a member of the Zamboanga city Lawn Tennis Association (ZCLTA), and a member of HEAD Tennis Elite Team. Allian started playing Tennis at the tender age of 10.
