HPG-9 recovers 5 stolen vehicles PDF Print E-mail

Highway Patrol Group-9 operatives have recovered four motorcycles and a Toyota Fortuner stolen in different places in the country.

Case investigator SPO1 Wilfredo P. Ator said the four recovered motorcycles are: a black Honda CBR 150 with plate number 9983 PN and with registered owner from Commonwealth,  Quezon City; a black and white Kawasaki KLX with registered owner from Buug,  Zamboanga Sibugay; a red Suzuki Raider 150 with plate number UQ 9038 and registered owner from Cebu City and a black Kawasaki HD III with plate number MC 8661 and registered owner from Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay

The recovered Toyota Fortuner’s registered owner is from Marikina City.

Ator  disclosed that the Kawasaki KLX was recovered at the local wharf where it was about to be shipped to Sulu.    When Ator and Insp. Mervin Claret asked the driver for shipment clearance and  proof of ownership, he could not produce any.

The Honda CBR 150 was recovered when the driver presented fake documents when he was applying for shipment clearance for Sulu. The driver of the Kawasaki HD III also applied for shipment clearance for Sulu, and it was found to be under alarm number 2004-0610-064.

The Toyota Fortuner was recovered when the driver applied for motorvehicle clearance for change of ownership.    When checked with the Motorvehicle Information Management System ( MVIMS ), It was found  to be under alarm number 2008-1216-027. It was forcibly taken in Marikina City.

HPG-9 Chief Supt. Severino B. Agustin has ommended his men for a job well done in the recovery of the five motorvehicles. He directed Claret and Ator to conduct further investigations and send an accomplishment reports to Camp Crame. — Allen Abastillas
