A 26-year-old man was killed while a resident of Sta. Barbara was wounded in two separate gun attacks in Tetuan and Sta. Barbara last Saturday night.

Roger Diniega was shot to death by two unidentified assailants in Don Toribio St., Tetuan around 11 p.m. He sustained gunshot wounds in the body and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

Witnesses told the police that the gunmen sped towards Tugbungan aboard a motorcycle.

Rashdi Ambutong, 30, of Sta. Barbara was shot and wounded by Tambri Faisal around 11 p.m.

A police report disclosed that Faisal went to Ambutong’s house and shot him without any word.

The suspect escaped after the incident.

Meanwhile, a 26-year-old man was wounded when a 13-year-old neighbor played with his father’s pistol that accidentally went off hitting the former in Manggal Drive, Baliwasan last Saturday night.

Wounded was Al-rashief Tahil.

A sketchy report did not have the identity of the teenager who took his father’s gun from a drawer and toyed with it until it went off hitting Tahil.
