Concern residents of Zamboanga del Norte have called on the Commission on Elections (Comelec) regional office to investigate reports of rampant flying voters in the municipality of Sibuco.

They also asked Atty. Tomas  V.  Valera, Provincial Election Officer of Zamboanga del Norte, to look into the reports  as the May 13  election is fast approaching.

Sibuco is very difficult to reach because of the rough road. Even local leaders are not using the main road from Zamboanga City because some areas of Sibuco are rebel infested, particularly the was to Sirawai and Siocon.

The traders  usespeedboat or pumpboat to get into Sibuco. For how many years the road is still not connected to the municipalities of Sirawai, Siocon, Gutalac and up to Labason and Liloy.

Resident complain they are still suffering from the bad road.

Candidates also said It is very difficult to campaign or hold rallies in Sibuco because they have to pass through Zamboanga City.

Other concern residents also informed  that last September 4 to 30, 2012, there was registration of satellite voters in Sibuco, Malayal, Bongalao and Lintangan near the boundary barangay of Limpapa,  Zamboanga City.
