A 24-year-old man lost his motorcycle to two unidentified young men while he was watching drag racing along Lobregat Highway in Divisoria early morning last Sunday.

Police identified the victim as Antonio Alvarado y Pahilago, single, of Zambowood.

A police report disclosed that Alvarado was watching a drag racing while sitting on his Motoposh Intense motorcycle around 3 a.m. when two men appeared and forcibly took his motorcycle then sped away.

The victim told the police that the suspects fled towards the city proper.

Meanwhile, Rafael Dela Cruz y Pepito, 85, widow, of Sitio Buntod, Buenavista, died after he was accidentally bumped by a KIA Frontier truck driven by Joel Esclibano, Jr., 29, of Pagadian City, at Sitio Basagan, Curuan.

Dela Cruz was rushed to the hospital where he expired while undergoing treatment.

Police said the truck was going to Pagadian from the city proper around 11:25 a.m. when it accidentally hit Dela Cruz.

Esclibano was placed under police custody while the truck was impounded at the Curuan Police Station. – Dan Toribio Jr.
