Three more suspected shabu pushers were arrested in two buy-bust operations carried out by policemen of the Zamboanga City Public safety Company (ZCPSC) and operatives of the Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (AIDSOTF) last Monday and yesterday.

Supt. William Gadayan,  ZCPSC chief, identified those arrested as Julhabib Hadjirul y Sali, 18, Haimir Hussin, 17, both residents of Fishpond Rio Hondo and Richard Quin, 58, married, a retired bank supervisor and a resident of Tugbungan

Gadayan disclosed that Hadjirul and Hussin were arrested in Barangay Kasanyangan around 3 p.m. The arresting team confiscated from them one small size and one medium size sachets of shabu and marked money. They were detained at the central police station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

Quin was arrested by men of the AIDSOTF led by Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon near a bar-restaurant along Gov. Camins Avenue at noon yesterday.

A police poseur buyer bought a sachet of shabu from Quinn worth P300 (marked money).

After the shabu sachet and marked money changed hands, a police back-up team cornered and arrested Quinn.

Quin’s Nissan Sentra car he driving during the buy-bust operation was impounded at the central police station.

Recovered from Quin’s possession were three medium and another small sachets with several drug paraphernalia  He was detained at the central police station while the seized items were turned over to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. – Dan Toribio Jr.
