The Social Security System is set to expand its frontline client facilities by this year in the hope of serving its expanding client base in the city and the nearby provinces.

Appearing in the public affairs program “Cuentas Claras” hosted by 2nd District Rep. Erbie A. Fabian, SSS Regional head Atty. Rodrigo Filoteo said the present city client service center will be expanded to a office center to handle the large volume of daily transactions by its member-clients.
Filoteo said equipment and facilities have also been procured to install in the new center.

Appearing with City Branch Head Elizabeth Cabatingan, SSS reported that client traffic volume, has increased over the years that the present client transaction center has become too small to handle the daily influx of client business.

Filoteo noted that even client members from the nearby provinces of Basilan, Sulu and Tawi Tawi and the Zamboanga Peninsula transact business at the city center.

Filoteo during the program also declared this would dovetail with the current trust of the new SSS leadership under Chairman Juan Santos and President Emilio de Quiroz Jr. of transforming SSS into the premier government center in terms of service to its clients.

Cuentas Claras, the premier public affairs program airs over MCTV channel 18 and Sky Cable channel 28 every Saturday at 12:30 pm. It is also shown on GBPI Channel 11 and airs over three local radio stations namely RMN, Radyo ng Bayan and UMBN KZ FM. It is also being replayed thrice over MCTV, Sundays during the morning and evenings from 9:00 till 11p.m. during Tuesdays and Thursdays.
