Team PNoy ends campaign trail with grand parade, miting de avance Print

Mayoralty aspirant Cong. Beng Climaco and her Team PNoy will parade the city streets today to drumbeat support to the administration party, the tried and tested (probao y aprobao) party, ending the over 40-day campaign period.

Hundreds of vehicles are expected to join the convoy that will kick off at 7a.m. at Jardin Maria Clara and will traverse through the different streets leading to the east coast and later to the west coast of the city.

On Wednesday, May 8, Climaco and her entire team culminated barangay rallies with a very well-attended sortie in Tugbungan and Pasonanca. Multitude of people flocked to the rally site to show their appreciation and support to the present administration led by Mayor Celso Lobregat, who is running for the District I congressional seat and Cong. Climaco being the head of the congressional office in District I

“Performance and accomplishments truly mark the administration,” barangay officials and their constituents affirm.  “The victory of mayoralty aspirant Beng Climaco, her teammate re-electionist vice mayor Cesar Iturralde, District I congressional bet Mayor Celso Lobregat, District II congressional candidate Jomar Lobregat and all the council aspirants from both districts would mean continuous progress and development for Zamboanga”.

The series of barangay rallies were most of the time jampacked, as barangay officials and residents of other barangays also attended the political sortie on their own volition.

After the motorcade today, the Team PNoy will proceed to the Fort Pilar to offer prayers and light candles.

Later tonight, the grand miting de avance is set where Climaco and her candidates will present their platforms of government as well as final appeal for support from the public.

Meanwhile, Climaco expressed gratitude to all the residents specifically Team PNOy supporters for receiving her and the party warmly during the house to house sorties and nightly rallies.

To translate the expression of support into votes, the lady mayoralty bet said people should go out and exercise their right to vote on Monday using the automated system. — Rey Carbonel
