The body of a suspected “salvage” (summary execution) victim was found at Sitio Nangka, Lubigan the other day.

A police report disclosed that the body was found around 11:30 a.m. by some residents.

Initial investigation showed the victim was estimated to be in his mid thirties having fair complexion, more or less 5’4 in height.

Police said the victim’s face was wrapped with cellophane. His forehead bore bulletwound.

Some residents and members of the Citizen Armed Forces Geographical Unit whose detachment is near the area where the cadaver was found, said that they did not hear any gunshot before the recovery of the body.

Police suspect the victim was killed elsewhere and the body was dumped in the area.

The cadaver was brought to the Villa Funeral Parlor for post mortem examination.
