The Lamitan City Board of Canvassers proclaimed Wednesday night the Furigay couple, Rosita and Roderick Furigay as winners in the mayoralty and vice mayoralty race, respectively, in Lamitan City.

The Lamitenos have given the couple an overwhelming mandate with 12, 038 votes for mayor-elect Rosita and 16, 838 votes for the outgoing mayor and now vice mayor-elect Roderick Furigay.

Of the 61 clustered precincts, the CBOC has canvassed 30, 889 votes out of the total number of registered voters of 38, 659 from the 59 clustered precincts.
