The Silsilah Dialogue Movement is set to celebrate the 1st Harmony Village festival from May 25-30, 2013.

The festival will feature merry making activities like an open market with food and other products on special prices, cultural presentations, sports, educational orientation on holisticare, gathering of the Harmony Chain Initiative and launching of an eco-friendly group called Friends of the Watersheds of Zamboanga.

Harmony Village is a beautiful 14 hectare property of low rolling hills and woodland acquired in 1984 and slowly developed since 1990. It is the home of the Silsilah Dialogue Movement which is committed to promote understanding and love of neighbor between Christians and muslims and people of other cultures and religions.

Fr. Sebastiano D’Ambra, PIME, founder of the Silsilah Dialogue Movement has invited newly elected city mayor, Ma. Isabelle Climaco-Salazar who has confirmed her presence in the May 26th cultural presentation. Also invited were the elected congressional candidates and all other newly elected officials of Zamboanga City.

Fr. D’Ambra also extendes his invitation to one and all to come together to celebrate their culture and their religion amidst the beauty of nature.

Harmony Village is located in Pitogo, Sinunuc, Zamboanga City. The Open Village will be from 9:00am- 5:00pm the whole week.
