Retired marines colonel hacked dead, robbed PDF Print E-mail

A retired marines colonel was killed and robbed by an unidentified assailant in his rest house in Lamisahan last Thursday.

The fatality was identified as Fernando Camohoy y Hugo, 59, a resident of Evergreen Drive, Guiwan.

Camohoy’s body was discovered around 12 noon by his relatives.

Police said Camohoy’s son Freniel had reported to the Sangali Police Station that they discovered his father dead inside their rest-house with hack wounds in the head and right shoulder.

Police investigatorsfound out that Camohoy’s magnum revolver and a Honda Wave motorcycle were missing believed to have been stolen by the killer.

A police report disclosed that Camohoy went to the rest house on May 27 together with a certain Dodong, a stay-in helper.

Dodong was nowhere to be found after the brutal incident,
