The Land Transportation Office-9 is ready with its traffic scheme and assistance for schoolers in the region during the school opening on Monday.

The LTO-9’s Law Enforcement Division has been directed to enforce fines and penalties on traffic violators who disrupt the traffic flow in the vicinities of the different schools in the region.

LTO-9 Regional Director Aminola P. Abaton has advised parents who drive motorcycles to wear the helmet properly for the safety of their children riding with them in going to school.

Abaton said the parents should always see to it that their kids are wearing quality helmet for their safety.

He also advised motorvehicles driver to always follow all traffic laws and regulations for their own good.

Abaton together with all LTO regional directors nationwide  attended recently  the 43rd National  Road Safety Convention  with the theme “Road Safety : A  Shared  Responsibility” held at the International  Hotel in Olongapo City. — Allen Abastillas
