Grenade found in Tumaga PDF Print E-mail

The City Police Office’s Bomb Squad retrieved a fragmentation grenade in Tumaga last Friday morning.

A police report disclosed that the grenade was found at a vacant lot near Forest Lake Memorial Garden past 8 a.m.

Bomb experts said the grenade can still be exploded.

Police were still trying to find out who the person who left the grenade in the lot.

The explosive was brought to the Bomb Squad office in Camp Battalia for proper disposition.

In another development, Isauro Ebol y Lariosa was arrested by men of the Detective Management Unit in Sta. Barbara last Friday morning.

Ebol was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for violation of Section 5(b) Article III in relation  to Section 3(b) Article 1 of the Republic Act 7610 ( child abuse).

The warrant was issued by Judge Peter Eisma of the Regional Trial Court. Recommended bail bond was P200,000. — Dan Toribio Jr.
