The families were evacuated on Thursday but have since returned to their homes on Friday morning.

The disaster agency added that nine houses were totally damaged while 15 partially damaged.

In Sergio Osmena, 19 families, or 111 individuals, in Barangay Kauswagan were affected by a landslide.

Continuous heavy rains also caused flashfloods and landslides in Barangays San Isidro, Tinago, and Pedagan.

“Public markets, school buildings, day care centers and roads were also affected. Roads in Barangay Tinago and Barangay San Isidro were impassable due to landslides,” the NDRRMC said.
