Men of the Tetuan Police Station served a warrant of arrest on an employee of the City Assessor’s Office in Barangay Guiwan last Monday morning.

SPO1 Rogel Estandian, under the supervision of Chief Insp. Elmer Acuña, proceeded to Jumbo Drive, in Guiwan around 9:30 a.m.and served the warrant on Peregrine Paragas y Marcial, married, relative to a grave coercion charge against him.

The warrant was issued by Judge Carlon Martin Alcala of the Municipal Trial Court with Case No. 51026.

The court recommended a bail bond of P12,000 for his temporary liberty.

Meanwhile, men of the City Police Office’s Detective Management Unit led by Insp. Albert Alfaro served a warrant on Alexander Quijano y Del Rosario of Purok 5, Lumayang in connection with a homicide case filed against him with Case No. 26656.

The warrant was issued by Judge Gregorio Dela Peña of the Regional Trial Court.The court recommended a P40,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty.

Both accused posted the bail bond and were released temporarily. – Dan Toribio Jr.
