Continuing with the series of inaugurations of projects scheduled until he steps down as local chief executive, Mayor Celso Lobregat turned over a total of five projects to Mangusu and Sibulao folks Wednesday.

Despite being a holiday, the mayor together Vice Mayor Cesar Iturralde and some elected officials motored to the east coast to inaugurate P7.396M worth of infrastructure projects.

Lobregat first went to Mangusu to unveil two newly concreted farm-to-market roads: one at Sitio Sinalikway stretching some 265 linear meters and priced at P1.9M, and another at Sitio Inner Mangusu that is 128 linear meters long and worth P996,594.74.

The group then proceeded to Sitio Dabuy in Sibulao where two connecting farm-to-market roads 411 linear meters in total length were also turned over. The projects totaled to P2.9M in investment.

Capping the day was the inauguration of the newly constructed Sibulao Wellness Center worth P2.9M.

Sibulao Chairperson Pablo Ramos thanked the mayor for the recent projects and wished the latter good luck as congressman-elect for District 1.

Just last March, Mayor Lobregat spearheaded the unveiling of the P4.1M Sibulao Barangay Hall.

The turnover of projects Wednesday coincided with the celebration of the 115th year of Philippine Independence.
