2 shabu pushers nabbed in Sangali PDF Print E-mail

Two suspected shabu pushers were arrested at Sitio Kalang, Sangali last Wednesday night.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo identified those arrested as Alibon Sahibol, 19, and Aljaybar Samson, 27, both residents of the said place.

De Ocampo disclosed that the two suspects were arrested by men of the Sangali Police Station led by SPO1 Norman Alviar during a buy-bust operation around 11 p.m. Confiscated from the suspects’ possession were five sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money and some drug paraphernalia.

Initial investigation showed that the two sachets of shabu were sold by the suspects to a police poseur buyer in exchange of the P500 marked and while they were being interrogated, three more sachets of shabu were found in their possession.

The suspects were detained at the Sangali Police Station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

De Ocampo disclosed that men of the Sangali police station have prepared charges for violation of Section 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 against the suspects.  – Dan Toribio Jr.
