Police set charges vs 5 suspects in Tetuan raid PDF Print E-mail

Police have prepared charges against five persons who were arrested during a raid at a house at Natividad St., Tetuan last Friday.

Arrested were Vilma Singah Musahari, 55, married; Nuhin Jordan, 31; Kunna Muhalib, 50; Tani Asarakil, 20, and a 15-year-old boy whose identity has been withheld.

They were present at the residence of Marimar Adjurani and wife Sheiralyn during the raid,  but the couple was not around.

After the proper inventory of evidences, police readied charges against the suspects for inquest proceeding at the City Prosecutor Office.

Lawmen from the different units composed of PAOCC-PCTC, City Police Office, Regional Investigation Division, RIU, Special Action Force, Zamboanga Public Safety Company, Intelligence Section and City Police Office’s Investigation Section armed with two search warrants for violation of PD 1866 and RA 9165 issued by the Regional Trial Court raided the house of Marimar and Sheiralyn Adjurani following reports of the presence of drugs and guns thereat.

However, the couple was not in their house during the raid.

The raiders recovered six large-size sachets containing shabu, an M4 carbine rifle, .380 caliber pistol, two butts for M4 rifle, several rounds of ammunitions, assorted jewelry items  and P94,000 in cash. – Dan Toribio Jr.
