A resident of Baliwasan Tabuk was stabbed to death by his drinking pal last Saturday night.

Edgardo Bongot, 31, of Baliwasan Tabuk, sustained multiple stab wounds in the body. He was stabbed by Darwin Mumin who escaped after the incident.

Initial investigation disclosed that Bongot and Mumin were arguing while drinking beer around 8 p.m..

Moments later, residents discovered Bongot dead at the place where they had a drinking spree.

During an ocular investigation, police noticed several stab wounds in Bongot’s body.

Police also recovered a sachet of shabu inside a pouch from the possession of Bongot.

A follow-up operation was carried out at the house of Mumin after he was tagged as the prime suspect but he was nowhere to be found.

Bongot’s body was brought to a funeral parlor for post mortem examination. – Dan Toribio Jr.
