The buildings of the different district and unit offices of the Land Transportation Office-9 are currently undergoing rehabilitation and enhancement to continue the delivery of quality time management and attain good satisfaction of the clients.

LTO-9 Director Aminola P. Abaton disclosed that the rehabilitation of the Dipolog City District Office is already 100 percent completed, while repair work on the Ipil District Office in Zamboanga Sibugay is still ongoing.

The buildings of LTO-9’s Zamboanga City Operations Division and Zamboanga City Licensing Office are undergoing expansion work.

“We are doing these to ensure that we have space for the  convenience of the public while they are applying and  waiting  for their documents to be processed,” Abaton said.

According to Abaton, LTO-9 has acquired generator sets for the district offices so that service delivery will notbe disrupted by the current power crisis in Mindanao. The LTO Zamboanga City District Office has a 220 KV generator set that is providing  power supply during blackouts.

Abaton revealed that he is scouting for an area in the city where delinquent motorvehicle units and violators of the Traffic Code and other traffic laws will dbe impounded. — Allen Abastillas
