Land Transportation Office-9 Zamboanga City District Officer Noel M. Noche has advised motorvehicle owners not to engage the services of fixers to avoid unnecessary expenditure and instead go directly to his office to make transactions when they are registering their units or renewing their registration or driver’s license.

“Go directly  to my office and inquire what to do for the documentation and don’t engage the services of fixers so that your money will not go to waste,” said Noche in his advice against fixers.

He said that vehicle owners should know or learn how to transact business regarding the registration or renewal of their units  because it is very easy now as LTO-9 is already International Organization Standardization (ISO) certified.

LTO-9 aims to deliver quality time management to clients.

Noche said that the first thing to do in registering or renewing vehicles is to go directly to his office and ask for information on what to do. In the documentation of the units.

“The owners must not go first to an insurance or emission testing center for drug test or medical test. They must first ask our office on what things to do so that the documentation of the units will become easy,” Noche said.

He said that his LTO-9 district office and other offices always implement the directive of LTO-9 Director Aminola P. Abaton on quality time  management and effective service to clients to always sustain efficiency.

Noche also advised owners of motorcycles to chain lock their motorcycles so that it cannot be easily stolen while parked. – Allen Abastillas
