In celebration of their 43rd anniversary, members of the Knights of the Right Keepers (KRK) fraternity conducted a coastal clean up drive last Saturday, June 22, along the Cawa-Cawa beach stretch in RT Lim Boulevard.

The coastal clean up is part of the KRK’s anti-pollution campaign, an undertaking which the fraternity proactively pursues and supports.

According to KRK vice president Nonito Aranas, the KRK is different from what it was before as their members become more aware of their social responsibility.

The KRK seeks to be more than just a brotherhood group as it actively spearheads and participates in social activities like bloodletting drives, conflict mediation and various sports leagues for the community.

“Bien actibo y sabe el diamon maga miembro el di ila responsibilidad para na sociedad,” said Aranas. — Jasmine Mohammadsali
