Ciudad Medical Zamboanga is now an advanced private hospital in Southeast Asia in as far as CT scan machine.

This after the management launched yesterday the Siemen’s SOMATOM Perspective 64-slice Computed Tomography.

CMZ President Dr. Joven Monsanto disclosed that the new hi-tech machine is an upgrade from the hospital’s existing 2-slice scan machine that has been servicing many  patients.

The Somatom perspective is the first high-end CT scanner to facilitate CT business without compromising clinical results. It has the features of care dose4D, a Siemens patented innovation that ensures consistent high image quality while minimizing radiation dose.

The hi-tech machine is also capable of faster rotation times, resulting in shorter procedures and enhanced patient comfort.

CMZ is the first hospital in Southeast Asia to own a Siemens’ SOMATOM perspective 64-slice CT scan that will greatly improve its medical services to patients.

The hospital management is confident that with the new scan machine they can treat more patients who are in need of undergoing CT scanning.
