An unoccupied two-storey house was gutted down by fire at Segunda Drive, Talon-Talon at dawn yesterday.

A police report disclosed that the fire broke out at an abandoned semi-concrete house owned by the Miranda family before 1 a.m.

Estimated damage wasP300,000.

Investigators were still trying to determine the cause of the fire and to find out whether it was arson or not.

In another incident, Light Haus Travelers’ Inn and videoke bar along San Jose Road was partially damaged in another fire that broke out yesterday afternoon.

Firemen put the blaze under control in less than an hour.
