Gas station loses P48k in robbery PDF Print E-mail

Burglars broke into a gasoline station along San Jose and robbed P48,000 in cash at dawn last Tuesday.

Police investigators led by deputy chief, Insp. Maricar Ricafort Ledesma found out that the robbery took place right inside the gasoline station’s office.

Initial investigation disclosed that the robbers entered the office from its G.I. sheet roof and wentto the vault.

Police said the hinge of the drop box that served as their vault was destroyed The amount of p48,000 inside was discovered missing.

The Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) team lifted some fingerprints from the robbery scene to possibly help identify the robbers.

Meanwhile, men of the Anti-carnapping Unit and Investigation Section led by Sr. Insp. Raymond Sanson and Sr. Insp. Arlan Delumpines recovered two more stolen motorcycles during a follow-up operation in Rio Hondo last Tuesday.

Two Honda XRM motorcycles were retrieved at the vicinity of Mindeva ice plant around 3:30 p.m. They were were brought to the central police station for proper disposition. – Dan Toribio Jr.
