A 34-year-old man lost P50,000 and US$500 to two holduppers at Falcatan St., Tetuan last Thursday morning.
The victim was identified as Stanley Tan y Natividad, single, of Veterans Avenue.
Police said that Tan was riding on a motorcycle driven by Dexter Sotto along Falcatan St. around 10:30 a.m. when an unidentified person stopped them and had a conversation with Sotto. He boarded the same motorcycle and seated behind Tan.
When the motorcycle resumed speed, the man pointed a screw driver on Tan and announced a holdup.
The man holding the screw driver divested Tan of P50,000, US$500 and pertinent papers.
The unidentified man together with Sotto escaped aboard the motorcycle.
Police said that Sotto had apparently connived with the unidentified man in robbing Tan.
Hot pursuit operations were carried out by the police to get the two holduppers, but as of press time no results were reported yet. —  Dan Toribio Jr.
