Men of the Tetuan police station under Chief Insp. Elmer Acuña have forwarded to the city prosecutor office a case of murder against a man who shot and killed a fish vendor the other day.

Shabry Nhubin Hinnang was brought to the prosecutor office for inquest on murder case with IS number IX-6-13G-00285.

After presenting  all evidences, Hinnang availed of the 15-day waiver and was detained back at the Tetuan Police Station.

Hinnang was arrested during a hot pursuit operation after shooting Giovani Almazan in Talon-Talon around 12:45 p.m. last July 24.

During investigation, witnesses came forward and identified Hinnang as one of the two gunmen responsible for killing Almazan.

Acuña and his men then mounted a follow-up operation that resulted in the arrest of Hinnang in Nurby Drive, Talon-Talon on the same day.

Hinnang denied the accusation saying that he was not involved in the shooting. But police have gathered strong evidences pointing to Hinnang as one of the two killers. – Dan Toribio Jr.
