Boalan man shot, hurt PDF Print E-mail

A man was shot and wounded by one of two men inside a store in Sitio Asinan, Boalan last Friday night.
The victim was identified as Marvin Rufino y Bartolome, 38, married. He sustained two bullet wounds in the right lower ribs and was taken to the Zamboanga Doctors Hospital.

Police said that Rufino was at the Gina Store around 8 p.m., when two men riding tandem on a motorcycle arrived. The backrider alighted and entered the store. He was pretending as a customer andbought a pack of cigarettes.

Moments later, the man suddenly pulled out a handgun and shot Rufino five times.
Police said that Rufino managed to run away while the gunman was firing on him.
The gunmen sped aboard their motorcycle while the victim was taken to the hospital.

Rufino described the gunman as medium built, wearing a black cap, having long and sharp face and with a pointed jaw. — Dan Toribio Jr.
