A suspected motorcycle thief was arrested by policemen after he was caught in possession of a stolen motorcycle along Gov. Alvarez St. at dawn last Friday.

Arrested was Abdurahman Titing y Ekih, 32, married, of Sucabon, Zone II. He was nabbed by policemen led by Sr. Insp. Ansary Polog of the City Police Office around 1:20 a.m.

A police report disclosed that Polog and his men were on roving patrol in  the city proper when they spotted Titing pushing a motorcycle and acting suspiciously.

Policemen called and asked him for any ownership document of the motorcycle.

However, Titing ran towards the interior of Sucabon prompting the lawmen to chase him. He was cornered after few minutes of chasing.

Polog and his men recovered a Honda Wave motorcycle with plate number 7711-JR that was stolen by Titing along Tomas Claudio St, earlier and a fan knife.

Titing was detained at the central police station.— Dan Toribio Jr.
