Man hurt in Basilan grenade blast PDF Print E-mail

A 26-year-old man was wounded in a grenade attack in Barangay Timpul, Isabela City, Basilan early Saturday morning.

Senior Supt. Mario Dapilloza, Basilan provincial police director, said the incident took place around 2:00 a.m.

He identified the victim as Almer Ho, single and a resident of the above-mentioned locality.

Ho underwent treatment at the Infante Hospital for shrapnel wounds.

Initial investigation indicated the victim was having a midnight meal when a still unidentified suspect hurled the grenade at Ho’s house.

Motive for the attack is still unknown.
