4 nabbed in drug buy-bust yield shabu, 45 cal.pistols PDF Print E-mail

Police arrested four men and confiscated from them  large amount of shabu and two .45 caliber pistols during a buy-bust operation in Tetuan last Saturday night.

The buy-bust operation was carried out by men of the Tetuan Police Station led by SPO2 Efren Gregorio under Chief Insp. Elmer Acuña around 10:30 p.m. near Zamboanga City High School Main.

Acuña identified those arrested as Miller Pansensoy y Junsay alias Melanio Pansensoy, 34, married, of Villa Asuncion Subdivision, Tetuan; Eulisis Cordova y Flores, 46, married, of Talon-Talon; Eric Villanueva y Atilano, 41, of Manicahan, and Christian Perez y Enriquez, 22, of Putik,

Confiscated from Pasensoy’s possession were two medium size sachets of shabu, a .45 caliber pistol loaded with four bullets and P300 marked money;  Cordova yielded a small sachet of shabu; seized from Villanueva was another small sachet of shabu and from Perez a high-cap type .45 caliber pistol with eight rounds of ammunition and an XR motorcycle and a Yamaha scooter.

The four suspects were detained at the Tetuan Police Station while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

Acuña and his men have readied charges for violations of Section 5 and 11 of the Republic Act 9165 and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition against the four suspects.

The buy-bust operation came after Acuña received information that Pansensoy was selling shabu in the area.

Immediately, Acuña and his men put up surveillance and found the information positive. They buy-bust operation came afterwards resulting  in the arrest of the four men. – Dan Toribio Jr.
