Bomb exploded outside Sibugay trader’s house PDF Print E-mail

An explosive planted by  unidentified persons exploded outside the house of a businessman ain Sta. Barbara, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay last Saturday night.

Police said the explosion took place outside the house of Darwin Palalon y Torrico, married.

No one was hurt in the blast but it destroyed the wall and glass window of Palalon’s house.

Police said that Palalon was not in the house when the blast happened.

Police said that only the caretakers identified as Diego Manlin, 43, and a minor, Nonoy Otesian, were in the house sleeping around 11 p.m. when they were awakened by a loud explosion outside the house.

SOCO (Scene of the Crime Operatives)  conducted an ocular investigation to determine the kind of explosive used by the perpetrators.

Police were looking into extortion as the motive behind the bomb attack. – Dan Toribio Jr.
