Abaton to attend conference on IRR for Anti-Drunk Law PDF Print E-mail

Land Transportation Office-9 Director Aminola P. Abaton will attend a conference that will tackle the finalization of the drafting of the Implementing Rules and Regulations ( IRR ) of Republic Act 10586, otherwise known as the Anti-Drunk law to be held at Widus Hotel Clarkfield, Angeles City, Pampanga on August 14 to 16 ,2013.

Abaton’s attendance to the said event is under Travel Order Number VPT-2013- 78 dated August 12, 2013 signed by Assistant Secretary Viriginia P. Torres.

Under a directive,  LTO officials who are required to attend the event are Executive Director Alfonso V. Tan Jr.,  LTO-9’s Atty. Abaton, LTO-5 Director Norean Bernadette San Luis-Lutey,  LTO-6 Director Dennis M. Singson, LTO-11 Director Gomer J. Dy, LTO-12 Director Putiwas M. Malambut. From the LTO Central Office — Director Esteban M. Baltazar Jr., Traffic Adjudication Service, Director Yusoph A. Lamping, Law  Enforcement,  Daisy P. Jacobo, Menelia C. Mortel, Jose Mari T.  Salvador, Atty.  Raul Zosimo B. Panlasigue,  Nicole F. Musni and Mary Anne E. Hizon.

On the other hand, Director. Abaton has instructed Zamboanga City  District Officer Noel M. Noche and the officer in charge of the Law Enforcement Division to attend the session of the Zamboanga City  City Council on Wednsday.

Abaton was invited by the City Council regarding proposed Ordinance No. 2013-23 authored by Councilor Mike Alavar seeking to require all motorcycle owners in the city of Zamboanga to secure Verification of Identification Stickers Authority (VISA) card and prescribing service fees or penalties for violation.

Abaton can not attend the session as he is required to attend the finalization of the  drafting of the Implementing Rules and Regulations for R.A 10586.

Meanwhile, Abaton is scheduled to preside the quarterly  Regional  Transportation District Officers conference to be held next week at his office. — Allen Abastillas
